Tales of a broken washer

Oh My Gosh! Who would've thought that a broken washer could be such a huge headache! I have spent the better part of the day taking my washer apart and cleaning hoses, then putting it back together. I have probably done this 4 times now. I have cleaned out every hose I can find. The funny thing is there was only one little bitty black hose that leads to nothing but a plug, that had any type of blockage at all. I know it drains down to that spot, because I forgot to connect the hose there and it drained all over my floor. I know that the hose from that spot is clear, because I took it off and ran water through in in my sink. I do not understand why when I put that hose back on, it refuses to drain. If it drains out of there, and there is no blockage in the hose that connects to there, why won't it drain when they are connected????? I cannot tell you how irritated I have gotten because of this thing. I know I should just let it be for a while, but it does not make any sense to me, so I am having a hard time letting it go. I am bound and determined to make it work. I know I have the stronger will. It will work. I am going to make it work. I am just not sure how. :O/
